SEOUL, April 4 (Xinhua) -- South Korea said Wednesday it wants "more details" on Pyongyang's recently stated commitment to denuclearization of Korean Peninsula through talks and the preparation process for the summit between the two Koreas.

Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha told reporters that Seoul is planning flexible dialogues to encourage the two leaders to hold a candid and comprehensive meeting, and the main topics would be denuclearization, inter-Korean relations and a peace settlement.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in and top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un agreed to hold their first summit on April 27 at the border village of Panmunjom, and U.S. President Donald Trump said he would meet Kim by the end of May.

Kang added that the complete denuclearization was a shared goal of South Korea as well as the international community, which needs close coordination to decide on when and how to achieve it.
